Poster Assignment Guidelines

Poster Presentations

Poster presentations provide the opportunity for thepresenter and the audience to talk with one another. During thedesignated period, the audience moves through the poster displays, stopping to interact with those who are presenting research that isof special interest to them. Thus, the interaction between thepresenters and the audience is likely to be more meaningful than istypically the case in talk sessions. Therefore, when constructingyour poster, remember to utilize the opportunities provided by thismethod of presentation.

Poster presentation guidelines:

It is an honor to have the opportunity to present at a researchconference. You have an obligation to prepare a neat, well-organizeddisplay and to be present at your display for the entire postersession period. With a little thought and creativity, you can makeyour presentation a very pleasing one for both you and youraudience.
